Grandmother's medical debt

My grandmother died 3 years ago.  Now there is a collection agency, GLA, calling for her every single day trying to collect some money she owed. I believe the debt is for a hospital type bed she rented for the house, and is around 300 some dollars.

She had two sons, my dad and uncle. My uncle was the executor of the will, although at the time of her death, she didn't really have any assets. She had deeded the house over to me about 10 years prior, and had very little, if any, money left in the bank. She did have some life insurance, and what was left of that after hospital and nursing home bills I think went to my dad. I have very little communication with my dad, and no communication at all with my uncle, so I do not know all the technical and legal stuff that took place after her death.

I'm not clear on how debt collection works after the death of the debtor. Does my grandmother's debt still have to be paid? And if so, by who? As a descendant, could they come after me for the debt once they learn she's deceased?  (I live in Kentucky, btw.)
